Mirrors We All Our
What is it about the calming peace of a stranger?
Or maybe you weren't a stranger.
Maybe my heart knew you all along.
Or wanted to.
Or begged me to in order to give notice.
Mirrors... we all our.
Silly self filled with such clouded eyes and thoughts.
You aren't doing yourself justice because you are not your self.
You beg me to listen but my eyes deceive me.
The fault in the chasm of the heart.
The inability to be.
The ability should be.
Set your self free.
Mirrors... we all our.
And in the space of silence I will remember you fondly.
You will never leave even if you do.
Because that's what happens when the self meets self.
That's what makes life beautiful.
It is the self outside of self and inside and back again.
Mirrors... we all our.
Understanding and ease.
The joy of having that "doh!" moment.
Of the fear that it's too late.
Of the vulnerability and fight within to be strong or to allow the self to be vulnerable.
And in the space of silence I will remember you fondly.
You will never leave even if you do.
I whisper to the air a wish and a prayer.
Dear star so bright she has finally come and seen the light.
Mirrors we all our.
If you are the ocean and I am the tide, we will surely meet again.
If two pillars of blinding light can finally see each other across a galaxy perhaps there is a substance that bids notice.
Believing is believing even when all hope and knowledge seems lost.
It is only then that we are truly found.
Mirrors we all our.
And in the space of silence I will remember you fondly.
There is forever a mark on me oh shiny meteorite from my home galaxy.
Changed and transformed forever.
Because that's what happens when the self meets self.
That's what makes life beautiful.
Mirrors we all our.
